There are many ways to travel to the beautiful city of Nantes. You can find all the information on this page.
Nantes has an international airport (Aéroport de Nantes Atlantique) located at the South of the city, which has regular flights with the main European cities. It takes about 1h to go to Nantes from Paris. Then, you can take the airport shuttle (Navette aéroport), which will transport you to the city center. The ticket is 7.5€. To book plane tickets, visit  www.airfrance.fr or www.liligo.fr .
The railway station (Gare SNCF) of Nantes is in the city. With the French high speed train (TGV), it takes about 2h20 to go to Nantes from Paris. It is much cheaper than the plane, especially if you book your ticket in advance: around 23€ to 50€ with the student discount card (carte de réduction jeune) which costs 50€ for one year, compared to more than 100€ by plane. Carpooling (covoiturage) is another way to reach Nantes with a small budget. You can visit www.covoiturage.fr to search for available carpooling places. The price range is between 20€ to 30€ from Paris to Nantes.

Nantes has a bike renting network, called Bicloo: you can rent a bike at a Bicloo station, travel with it, and return it to another station. The price is separated in two parts: the first one is the “access to network” part, it costs 1€/day or 5€/week, the second one is the “bike rental” part, it is free for the first 30 minutes, 0.5€ for the second 30 minutes, 1€ for the third one, 2€ after. For exemple, if you rent a bike for two hours, it will cost you: 1€ (network) + (0.5+1+2) € (bike) = 4.5€. For more information, visit www.bicloo.nantesmetropole.fr.

The city of Nantes has a big network of tram lines and bus lines, which allows you to go conveniently to all the places you would like to visit. The school Audencia is near the tram station “Ecole Centrale – Audencia” on line 2 in the North of the city.

Both tram and bus require the same ticket, you can buy them by 10 (carnet) at automatic ticket selling machines or at kiosks for 13.8€. The ticket is valid for 1h starting from the first composting, and you can change lines as many times as you want within the hour.

But the most economic way to use the public transport is to get the libertan card, which costs maximum 33.9€ per month for unlimited use of tram and bus. The advantage is that the cheapest price is automatically calculated: if you travel less than 25 times, you only pay on a “per travel” basis, but if you travel more, the price is blocked at 33.9€.
